Ok…just noticed a Microgaming slot nearly sneak past my radar the other day…Cashapilla. Naff name and another slot with a bit of a cartoon feel to it - can’t say I’m normally a fan of that type of graphic, but it’s slightly better than most to look at. Also, it boasts 100 paylines Now that normally shouts “low variance” at me, and I’m a high-variance type of guy. Give me a risk anyday.
But I took a look and this slot is not only quite interesting for the points mentioned, but actually quite playable too. In fact at the moment (OK, it won’t last!) Cashapilla is up there as one of my first ports of call. Look…it’ll never be Thunderstruck, but it’s making a nice distraction. It’s a “free spins” slot with the fairly run-of-the-mill 15 free spins, all wins trebled template. But what makes the Cashapilla slot a little more meaty is that it has stacked wilds on every reel! For the uninitiated, “stacked wilds” means there is a wild symbol on each reel that covers all (in this case) 5 positions. And that can get very lucrative when they all start o line up. Very lucrative indeed. But as you’d expect, it’s rare.
I’d seen stacked wilds on a few RTG slots before now, and of course on the immensely popular IGT slot, “Wolf Run” which you see around Vegas, but this is the first time on a Microgaming slot to the best of my knowledge. And there’s some icing on the cake too: unlike Wolf Run, the free spins are trebled and the wild doubles all wins - effectively 6x in the free spins! Now that’s more like it. I hit some pretty decent wins on Cashapilla in the past couple of weeks, 100x and more, but it’s also pretty streaky. When those wilds go missing, so does your money, so be warned!
Since Microgaming put a blanket ban on Americans playing their games, the only possibility left for the US market is at Intertops, but they may have also implemented the ban by the time you read this. There is always the Cashapilla Free version for the USA, or alternatively you will find one or two similar stacked wild slots among the excellent “Real Series” slots at the RTG casinos of iNetBet, Club USA and Bodog.
For everyone else, Cashapilla is available at the following casinos:
Intertops (may still take Americans so worth a try)
